Applying custom artwork assigns your custom colors and logo to all Web3 Domains registered from your Web3 TLD.
For example, if you assigned custom art to your Web3 TLD .yourname, then all new and existing Web3 Domains registered against .yourname such as hi.yourname will use your custom branded artwork.
You can change artwork for Web3 Domains registered from your Web3 TLD whenever you like. Once updated be sure you refresh the metadata of the Web3 Domain within any NFT Marketplace to see your new artwork live
You can assign your custom, branded art when staking or privately staking your Web3 TLD.
Within our DNS Platform (dns.decentraweb.org) connect the wallet which owns the Web3 TLD you'd like to create custom artwork for, then head to Stake Domains.
In this example we are staking our Web3 TLD for the first time. For already staked Web3 TLDs, you'll need to select the Web3 TLD and press Edit.
When staking your Web3 TLD, you'll need to assign your Registration Fee, Opt for Renewable or No-Expiry for your Web3 Domain Registrations, if opting for Renewable you'll need to provide your Yearly Renewal Fee, then finally we can opt for either Standard or Custom Art.
We'll go ahead and select Custom for our Domain Art.
Here we can now upload our Square Logo, assign text color for all text within our Domain Art and set a background color. You'll see a set up like below to start with.
In this example, we've added our logo which is 200px by 200px, opted for Black Text and a Solid Background Color using an orange color with the hex code #ff800c
Once you're happy with your set up, press Stake which will open a signature to sign within your wallet. Signing this will allow others to register Web3 Domains from your Web3 TLD at the fees and terms you set, with your new snazzy domain art applied 🎉
In this example, we've added our logo which is 200px by 200px, opted for White Text and applied our gradient at an angle of 45' with #cb16ff as our first color and #4646E0 as our second color.
Once you're happy with your set up, press Stake which will open a signature to sign within your wallet. Signing this will allow others to register Web3 Domains from your Web3 TLD at the fees and terms you set, with your new snazzy domain art applied 🎉
Applying custom artwork for Privately Staked Web3 TLDs follows the same set up as above but is done at the same time as setting up your Allowlist functionality through pasting in wallet addresses or allowing access based on ownership of any ERC20 or ERC721 token on Ethereum or Polygon Networks
There we have it! It's super easy to assign custom, branded artwork to your domains for that extra level of customization and professionalism for your community.
Owners of domains registered from your Web3 TLD, will be able to see their custom, branded art when viewing their domain within our DNS platform or within any NFT Marketplace.
